That game exposed how thin the Lightning blue line is behind the murderer's row of Hedman, McDonagh, and Sergachev.

I also feel like the team let Vasi down last night.

Second straight game blown 2 goal lead, horrible second period, play to tie in third to then give up late goal to lose.

Two straight games with 40 plus shots against and less then 25 for. Sloppy play and honestly these games should be 6-3 losses but Vasy makes crazy saves. Can't expect to win giving up 40 shots even with Vasy.

McDonagh and Cernak out are really showing how bad the D depth is right now and Cooper (which I agree with) is not taxing Hednan and Sergachev as both skated normal minutes in these games. Having Foote, Rutta and Foote at 20 minutes I guess its good they are getting minutes to get better just in case. Schenn is horrible.

Also what does it say that even with the sloppy play the Lightning had a chance to win both games.

Two days off to relax and heal then a 4 game homestand. Hopefully good news come from the injury front. Bolts need their second pair D line back.
