Yes we know Colorado Is head and shoulders better than the Wild, Colorado Is no worse than the second best team In the NHL. I wish Talbot was NOT starting tonight.

Hahahahaha!! From your side of the fence, yes it was. The Avs did a great job of showing what team speed can do for you. And I think it was pretty clear which team has more talent throughout it's lineup. What was killing me about the Avs game is that they let Rask just walk right through and score. I like it that the Wild scored, but did the Avs have to make Rask look competent?

For the Wild, this was the 1st litmus test for where they are, and they failed pretty handedly. Avs showed that you just body up Kaprizov and give him zero room, and that pretty much kills his game. I really don't blame Talbot on the game last night (stopped watching after the 4th goal)...he reminded me of the goalie from Slapshot, just getting shelled in that 1st period.

Wild fans can only hope that was a wake up call for the team and that they HAVE to have a better effort. If it continues this way though, Guerin's job is going to get a little easier in the coming weeks. I still see the best trade assets as Dumba and Fiala.

I think Talbot might be labeled our #2.

I wasn't surprised by the outcome on Thursday night between Colorado and Minnesota after all the Avs are a championship caliber team and Minnesota early stages of a rebuild, I haven't heard anything today about the Dumba Injury, This could be bad on a couple of levels. One. Dumba will be missed In the lineup. Two. If Guerin was negotiating with another team about a possible trade then that would be out the window as well If Dumba misses some games also If Dumbas out that means Soucy will be the fifth defender on Saturday after his one game suspension, I would make Addison the 6 and let Hunt sit, Addison Is a big part of the Wild future and there Is really no reason why he can't experience 12 plus minutes against an elite team. Bottom line the Wild are trending upward. 8 and 6 In the first quarter of the season and 10 and 4 In the second quarter of the season.

I hope his injury doesn't affect Dumbass in his ability to kneel!
