I'm hoping tom wilson is suspended before we play the caps next. That guy is a goon and a savage and I don't want him hurting our players... With that said I'd love to see him in orange and black though. At least then he can't hurt our guys if he has to comtinue to be a dirty hitting dbag

That hit he had was literally targeting the head, and the head only. He skated in and the guy was already a little bent over, he knew exactly what he was doing. The league needs to send him a message, I’d like to see at least 5 games. How many suspensions does this guy have?

I think he’s got a few. I was surprised about all the smack talk Marchand was offering after the game. He tends to play on the edge as well and wouldn’t be a guy that drops the gloves.

Clear headshot by Wilson, then Vrana cross checks him in the back of the head when Carlo is going down. No penalty. Lol this league is a joke.

His teammate ended up going to the hospital because that guy runs around like an idiot, I’m not surprised he had a lot to say. Not that he’s an angel out there lol

The Boston blog says he has 4 suspensions, 23 games, 1.4 million lost in fines and salary.

Bill,
I’m assuming Meyers is ok after that late hit, he definitely looked like he had some head issues on the bench, and I’m pretty sure this isn’t his first since going back to juniors. Any word if he was ok after the game? Thank you for all you do and LETS GO FLYERS

Tom Wilson...

Who do the Flyers have to keep him accountable?

Because if the answer is the league will handle it then the Flyers have some serious issues.

He does seem a bit fragile for a guy his size.

Wasnt his head. He took a slap shot afterwards and winced and made an auditory pain noise on the follow through. I think he reaggravated the rib issue

Offered in person hearing... He's gone for at least 5 games.
@NHLPlayerSafety: Washington’s Tom Wilson has been offered an in-person hearing via Zoom for Boarding Boston’s Brandon Carlo. Date and time TBD.

Negative ghost rider, this was the hit he took from Angello I believe after his shot attempt. If I recall correctly he was holding his head after the hit (he stayed down for a little) and they showed him on the bench holding his head as well.

Yeah it won't be his last time. The NHL keeps talking about concussions and keeping players safe yet they continue to look the other way more times than not when hits are directly aimed at head. I'm so tired of seeing these late blindside hits as well, players know exactly what their intentions are. Yet they continue to hurt the game by calling every tic-tacky tap to glove with the stick.

This is at least Wilson's THIRD head hunting incident THIS YEAR and finally it is being reviewed.

He clearly plays in the National Hitting League, not Hockey League. I don't get why he doesn't understand you don't have to hurt people to be an effective player.

Go rewatch his final shift genius. He takes the slap shot, cries out and bends over and clutches around his mid section/chest cavity.

Whats with the name calling? Very unnecessary. I don't remember seeing a shift after that hit. I'll gladly watch the replay when I get home

That's the sad part, the guy has tons of skill and can still play hard, but thinks for some reason he has to cross the line. I just got done going on a rant about Wilson maybe a week or so ago about the Jankowski blindside hit, which was WAAAAAY worse than the Carlo hit, and far as I know he wasn't even fined.

Seriously if some degenerate thinks this is acceptable in any way they may need some help. You can literally watch Wilson in the background the whole time stalking waiting for the hit.
