Most likely. His prorated deal is at 1.7 now, so a chunk can be buried. I can’t imagine someone vying for Fil’s services right now, but strange things happen.

Pittsburgh needs to move a LD soon as they will all be healthy. Brian Dumoulin is the most likely candidate. He has 2 more years at $4.1M and is 30. I would like a younger option but this might be a good move now to get a veteran LD for the rest of this season and next year and hopefully trade him at next year's TDL. He has been injured a bit as of late. I would think you might get him for Bobby Ryan. Pens would use the Cap savings to make another move. Thought???
