Jeremy Laura: Wings vs Hawks V - Svech me if you can?

I don't expect to see Svech to see much ice. I don't think he's a Blashill type of player, whatever that may be. The kid played well a few games last season, then was benched and sent to GR.

I really hope to see Svechnikov in over Nielsen tonight, Larkin is out and day to day with an upper body injury, so one is gonna need to step in. Fabbri i'm assuming will take over 1st line center, no updated lines are out from what I can see.

Here's hoping they can come out and put more offense up tonight, last game was great to see and it's something positive to build on. LGW!

I think you may be right. Unless he has a brilliant shift and forces his way up, it’s not looking good. My hope for this guy is that his brother makes him part of his negotiation. Dougie Hamilton got his brother a job with Calgary in a similar way. Waddell is so ridiculously cheap, he just put his stamp on “Svechnikov belongs to us, so this will be easy” for negotiations. Regardless, I want the best for Evgeni. He’s a really good guy

They just seem to have our number. Chicago can score PP goals. We can't. Patty Kane is still an elite player. He should get some Hart trophy votes. I'd love to see Murph vs Joey Chesnut in a hot dog eating contest. I bet Murph would give him a good run. 😉

Brome has been so effective on the top line also, it's time to revisit that again apparently.

I don't even know anymore, let Svechnikov get a damn game in. That 4th line is just unnecessary when it's all vets that have no future on the team. At least put Ras or Svech at center between those two to learn something, develop a little bit with some experienced guys.

I'm not a Svech fan but why not? I don't see Yzerman, Fedorov, Datsyuk or Zetterberg wearing a Red Wings jersey these days.

If you go up to Frankenmuth, they have a pizza with Bratwurst, sauerkraut, and chicken on it. I haven’t tried it yet, but it looks good
