They were one of the better if not best lines (without factoring in their ice times which may have been a little more limited). Laughton got goal #3. Jake and Oskar got the A's

He’s critical to the teams success. We’re a defensive gong show without him.

The food line looked good! Really good! I also like the first line with jvr, coots, and young beezer
I think we may finally have two dangerous lines again

I probably would also but it's a question of where. A few lines are playing to well to break up.

It’s hard for you guys to really gauge how good they’re playing when your going against a team that is coached by a peewee house team!

Laughton’s goal was very nice. That’s a hard move for a tender to stop

Great game today. Can we get Ghost back on PP1 now that he has confidence back. Provorov is not the answer there in my opinion. We need him more at 5V5 as that is where he excels.

Agreed. But the bigger question is do you hand NoPa the 3C spot back, and push Laughton back down to 4C? Or let Laughton, who's playing better right now, take 3C and stick NoPa at 4C? Will likely be difficult for NoPa to get going offensively with 4th line minutes & mates, but I'd still probably go with Laughton at 3C. Gotta do what's best for the team, not the player here IMO. Can always bump NoPa back up after a few games if he earns it

I thought the crew brought up a good point about 6 games in 9 days so maybe it's rest. I don't think that's why but I don't know if anyone has a definitive answer. I hope he's in Sunday.

Ivan "I'm only good with established, cup winning defenseman" Provorov. Nah I'm just kidding, I like Provorov. But I definitley think it would be worth a shot to put ghost back there again. See if they can recapture some of that 2017 powerplay magic again. Maybe if he starts consistently scoring again they will.

At 4 c with raf and NAK they can roll 4 lines. That 4 th line can play 12-14 mins. Which is around what he’s getting now. Go another game at rw. Today he was involved but also think he showed chemistry with g when he’s played with him. That is how he needs to play.( today that is) One more a re to build tell him to do that at center. 4 th line to prove it. I would have no qualms with that.

I’d be fine with doing that if ghost can keep it up. You notice the pace with which he passes the puck on the pp. you need that to open the pk box up and put them on the defensive/not allow them to aggressively close on our players. Those split seconds on two or 3 consecutive passes creat the openings.

I hate Provy on the top unit, he lacks creativity and it kills the PP at times

I agree. He doesn't move the puck quick enough. He doesn't draw the defenders in. He skates the puck for a few strides and telegraphs where the puck is going. He's also not good at rushing the puck and setting up.
