Eichel and Skinner amount to over 19 mill in cap though. Hard to make a trade like that work cap-wise. Maybe at the expansion draft.

I think it's better for flames to stay away from that trade if they force skinner to come with eichel because it doesn't make sense in long run and as we all know one player alone cannot carry a team in hockey.. it's not basketball.

I understand Ward went back to last years line combo's. How did the 3rd line look with Bennett at C?

The whole team played better with those line combos... I guess ward should just stick with these lines. All the other line combos have failed.

Would they do Bennet for Domi though? I would do that just because both players can use a change of scenery and might thrive in a different market... but it would be Domi's 3rd team already.
