You don't need possession to be eligible to be hit. I mean, you said he touched it.
It was late. 2 minute interference. Move on. - Blackstrom2
I agree. It wasn't a head shot, the refs handled the situation perfect by giving him the 2 min and nothing got out of control. |

I never got a participation trophy. I would never want one. You want the trophy? Be better and win it. |

High ankle sprain is worst case scenario. Means there’s severe ligament/tendon damage. He’s gonna suck for a good year or two. - Feds91Stammer
That was my initial thought when I saw the play.

I remember them doing participation trophies when I was a kid but there were also bigger trophies the champs got so you knew your little trophy meant you were a loser lol. |

Haha yeah Iirc everyone in my school got a blue ribbon for joining and the actual winners got real trophies. The one thing I hated is when I was in grade 9 that was the last year initiation was legal in Alberta. God I would of loved to give it to the grade 9’s when I was in grade 12. |

Yeah changing your roster to combat one guy isn't smart. However, we need at least 2, perhaps 3 more forwards. I wouldn't mind at all targeting bigger guys that can play. Anyone is an upgrade over Jankowski, Scevior, and O'Connor. Plus I think we still sorely miss Hornqvist.
There are ways to accomplish this.
Someone mentioned yesterday Marcus Foligno (makes a lot of sense) & Zadorov (doesnt make as much sense).
The ship has probably sailed on my boy Miles Wood.
LA Kings are looking for a young LHD. We have obvious ties with Hextall. I'd be interested in exploring Pettersson for Wagner or Kempe. - YouMeAndDupuis9

If you dont want Zadorov then just hope the hawks keep winning for a while is all Ill say. (Apparently isnt getting dealt if hawks are close to a playoff spot) I personally think Zadorov stinks but I can see a use for him in a 7 game playoff series. Ya look at analytics all you want but whoever plays against him for 4-7 straight games especially net front players are gonna be hurting. Its not fun playing against guys like that to say the least. I said it about Reaves and from what my buddy thinks again is the players are wanting someone like that on the team. I think we all know it for sure wasnt Sullivan wanting him and by chance if it was Rutherford Id guess he would have stayed around much longer. Just a calculated guess but Id bet it isnt the fringe players asking for that. Good thing with guys like Hextall especially and Burke as well is they will do what they want and think is right not what the players or ownership ask for.
Still 100% think pens should be after Marcus Foligno and Glendening though. (no rumours on either of these 2 just who Id be after) at 6'3" 235lbs if the players want "protection" Foligno is big enough and more then willing to scrap anybody in the league and can still play on top lines.
Forsberg would be great obviously but Id have no intentions of completely mortgaging all the future thats left to get him.

In elementary we had field day with various competitions and all the losers got these tiny little green ribbons. All the places 1-3 in the events got big ass ribbons. |

Zadorov while lazy and enigmatic, is just a left handed version of Gudbranson. |

I just don't understand what Zadorov would mean to how lineup will be shaped. The Pens already need to move an LD once everyone is healthy, so they'd now have to move two. If the idea is to swap Zadorov for Dumo or Petts I think I'd vomit. |

Yea (frank) that noise. Honestly if we want some sort of power forward tough guy that can kinda play get a 4th line forward. I liked Guddy at the time just not his cap hit. We are pretty set on the defense front. |

That's because you're slapping more ice than puck. Make sure you know whether you are right or left handed too. |

I mean at this point in his life I'm sure he knows what handedness he is lol. When I was little I was given a right handed stick and was sucking and one of the coaches gave me a lefty and that was all she wrote. |

This is 100%. The fact that Matheson, while I'm being VERY cautiously optimistic, has looked better than expected by most, has created a good problem for the Pens. They are in a position where they need to subtract, not add.
If Hex and Burke are wanting to change the dynamic, fine, at least get someone who's not a negative impact on the ice. Yeah, he'll make players pay the price for crowding the net, but he's still creating more chances against when he's on the ice so that factor means nothing.
I agree, if they are hell-bent on getting more physical, bring in a physical bottom six guy. |

Do you guys know Tom Wilson scored the game winning goal!!!
Imagine that, Ryan Wilson can't find something else to write about. Jim Rutherford is awful, Jack Johnson sucks, Tom Wilson has no business in the NHL? Come up with something new. Was it a penalty? Yes it was and it was called for what the proper penalty was. BTW Tom Wilson scored the game winning goal. No ejection was warranted and no discipline should come of it. 14 points in 17 games with only 13 PIM. Those aren't bad numbers. Only 3 players on Pittsburgh has more points than him. Kinda funny that he scored the game winning goal last night!!! |
