That was a great period. Definitely deserve to be ahead right now. Let’s do it for 2 more periods and beat these SOBs.

With the attention Barzal attracts when he has the puck; if Wahlstrom gets extensive time with him on the PP, he's going to score a ton of goals like that.

A couple of notes:
Aggressive offensive zone Adam Pelech has been awesome
Aggressive defensive zone Michael dal Colle has been nearly just as good
Ryan Pulock may not be scoring much, but he has been great defensively. With the exception of Mayfield's occasional hiccups, our whole defensive corps has been pretty good, especially in one on one play

With Barzal on the bench the Pens definitely were out of position paying attention to him

I agree with all the above and just a side note I love Andy Greene’s game. I think he might be my favorite d man to watch in our defensive zone. He’s so smart, makes great decisions and makes it look effortless. Just my opinion but I think he’s the perfect pair for Dobson.

Agreed.
The whole team as units of 5 have been really good. 5v5 the Isles can play with anyone.

Yeah, I'm not referring to that particular goal but rather what we will eventually see

It's kind of ironic that Pelech was so defensively responsible as a youngster, that his growth as a player appears to be establishing his offensive play

Yeah just (frank)ing with you, although I think you will see that unit together. They have been the better unit of the 2 and with the addition of Wally and his shot I think they will be a lethal unit.

Anything that can buy Wahlstrom just a little space is going to be deadly for other PK units. I definitely like the idea of those two seeing time together eventually

Yup, the Isles are dominating play and an insurance goal would be great.

Yeah, they are doing a great job of shutting down the Pens, but it feels like it's just a matter of time before they break through.

That Pageau-Dal Colle-Wahlstrom line is buzzing big time tonight.
