This could all be the basis for a great hatred fueled rivalry between Newark and Buffalo...

So we should work out an Eichel trade and make it officially a complete goat (frank).

So the Sabres blueline Is taking a beating In more ways than one and today It's announced that Montour Is now available for trade. This Is the very definition of piss poor management and after Buffalo guts there roster of young talent you will still have the same Incompetent suits running the show. Wow!

At this point, see how much a “change of scenery” defenseman is. Ghost is maybe worth a gamble. Or heck Luke Schenn is on waivers. Ghost for someone like Mittlestadt could be done. Idk off the top of my head what Ghost’s cap hit is though. UGH the Sabres should’ve bought out Okposso when they had the chance!!!

Genuine curiosity sabres fans, if we make the assumption that buffalo would get NYR’s 21 1st and 22 1st how much would need to be added assuming the 21 1st is top 10.

Personally I could see Schneider and strome being enough to add. I know that may seem low but Schneider looks like a stud the sabres could use on their back end and this draft may not be the 2020 draft but a top 10 pick is still highly valuable. The sabres play their cards right and this could easily be the Erik karlsson trade 2.0

I only suggest this because even for eichel the rangers will likely not part with fox due to the hole on the blue line he’d leave and they may part with lafreniere but not much more than him (definitely not a 21 1st) and even though I believe he will be good it’s not like he looks like a sure thing to start the season which is why I’d be inclined to the package.

Also if pilut doesn’t come over why not add him as a flip for kravstov who it appears there isn’t enough room for on nyr.

I could be off base on all this but it’s hard to guess value when a player of this level hasn’t been moved recently

Only tool of a mediocre supposed hockey coach who thinks he is smarter than any other coach in the league who consistently thinks he’s manipulating the outcome of a game by not solidifying his starting goalie or starting lines until after pregame skate. He so smart. No wonder Edmonton let this tool go before he even completed a full season in there. (frank) Ralphy

The Sabres are pathetic excuse for a hockey organization. Mr. soccer coach is a total failure. Why the he!! is Skinner being punished for not scoring while playing with the 2 worst offensive players on the team? Anyone here who tries to paint any kind of positive spin on this team certainly has several screws loose...

This organization has spiraled down hill since they signed Eichel to his undeserved contract, then let him make coaching and personnel decisions. Buff will only get better when they dump him to some other franchise that are looking for a me first player.

I dont see NYR trading Lafrienere... or Kakko or Fox. I know you have to give to get but those are some pieces I don't see them trading. We'll see if anything happens at all.

Does Dahlin know it's a contract year? He is pacing to be a -51, and 24 points..... Farcry from the previous 2 seasons.

At least you boys should land a 1st when you flip Hall. My guess is to Colorado.
