not really

maybe if the pats get an o line and a few wr's
otherwise they are still a distant 3rd

and people are quick to forget how bad we destroyed miami when that game meant everything for them in week 17 with tua

and no fans then

I'd still focus on what kc, cleveland and indy does as I still see them as the other 3 for the final 4 in the afc

- homiedclown

We shall see, Pat's are getting some players back that opted out. Miami still could use some improvements but I think we win the East but gonna be tougher.

They went 7-9 last season with a bunch of opt outs and no weapons and Cam...

I see them getting a WR and going at worst 9-7 next season

- Stripes77

cam was terrible last year

How about large sample size.
Take out his MVP season, he is Sam Reinhart
22/39/61 over 82.
In 11 seasons, he has had 2 over 65 pts, albeit significantly reduced games played each season.
Now he's 29...I don't see it getting better anytime soon.
He played with Eichel, not some scrub here.
It's likely he is now more of a 45 - 50 pt player.
As I have said before, a 3 x $4sh would be the target for me.

- IonSabres

According to everyone Eichel has been a scrub this year....

Hunt is still an elite back

Yes he has his past issues, but he is good

He's been injured and missed many games in many seasons...it's a factor that reduces his actual production to very much less than his PPG rate would suggest over 82.
He is Sam Reinhart production, just plays significantly less games per season.

- IonSabres

Well if he scores the same in significantly less games would that not mean he produces at a better pace....???

Oh I agree, I think the Bill's haven't even hit there peak yet. I just think with the money they have to spend and some of the players NE has coming back from covid are gonna be tougher. And Miami if they sneak Watson out of Houston could get interesting.

tells me that the Browns are shopping RB Kareem Hunt to a handful of AFC East teams. Bills and Dolphins are the presumed suiters, with a relatively low price tag due to the current state of the RB market around the league

- Stripes77

If the Bills got Reem their offense would be on another level

It's called an Anamoly.

Take out this year if it makes you feel better.

He 20/40/60
Sam Reinhart, but at 29 and declining.
It will he so like the Sabres to overpay him.

- IonSabres

You're arguing it both ways

He has four seasons above a point a game, but those don't count because of injuries, the MVP season doesn't count because reasons, and you're only counting the seasons that look like Sam Reinhart.

So yeah, if you only count the seasons that look like Sam Reinhart, he looks like Sam Reinhart

Why are we taking out anything?

He’s a .88 PPG player which is a 72 point player and for the majority of his career he’s been a puck carrying distributor who is excellent at carrying it into the zone

He’s nothing like Reinhart

That's pretty harsh - you can't possibly compare him to Moulson and Okposo. Their biggest problem was being slow and then falling off of a cliff as they hit 30. Hall is still a good staker - just no longer elite. He is still a top 6 winger on any team and I do agree that he has been better than his points indicate.
- Slump Buster

Hall will be 30 in November. Wouldn't that constitute the cliff come next contract?

Moulson and okposo were goal scoring point producers that got old and sucky. Sure, they were never as fast as hall, but it's very similar timing.

Top 6 with 2 goals on the 31st team?
Playing prime pp minutes with eichel ?

Tripping over the blue line.... oh, he was tired.
Oh, he forgot to shift after 2 minutes + and 12 years of nhl experience?

0 nhl playoff winning experience. More the complete opposite, where his teams are always bad.

Its ralph and the pegula's though....

I have seen nothing that would want the Sabres to pay good $ or term.

No he's really good. 4th in the NHL among forwards in WAR, one of the top in the league in high danger passes.

He, like all the players on this team can't finish.

- sbroads24

The charts and graphs tell all.

Olofsson sucks
Hall is great
Skinner even better

Wow high danger passer of the year.

That's gotta have our team in the playoffs right?
