More tone def cluelessness from our ownership savants. Let’s see what happens when 200 fans show up with buckets of bbq to wing at Ralph.

Really don't get it, I know they are losing money, but that is partially on them. Just like the Bill's change the culture and everything else will take care of itself.

At this point what’s a few million more in losses... or as I’ve stated before due to the seemingly hoodwinked nature of the pegula’s when it comes to Ralph, just send him upstairs.

Let’s him ride out his contract as the president. It takes it off kims plate and they can hire a real coach.

Kim. Adams. Ralph.

Or

Ralph. Adams. Almost anyone?!?

Ride it for a year and a half and go from there.

It’s so much better than Ralph burying these guys for the rest of the season.

Making Ralph President means he probably has input over who the new coach is. I want no part of that.

Valid. So back to he just has to go and the pegula’s won’t do it because of the short term losses and impact on the lifestyle. Ssssooo proper franked for a while longer.

It really is embarrassing what they have done to there hockey team. You are supposed to learn from your mistakes, but they just keep letting the same thing slap them in the face and hide and do nothing about it.

Heard a podcast with John Shannon, Darren Millard and Mike Harrington last night, and they basically called the Pegula's arrogant for their refusal to change the structure of their hockey dept, and basically called it bullish!t that they're leaving GMKA out to dry (no POHO or asst. GM's), and God help us if Adams has to trade Jack over the summer (Harrington also said he wouldn't be surprised if they shut Jack down soon).

They should put jack on the yacht for the rest of the season and leave him alone. Zero reason for him to play right now.

I just don’t get how they can own two teams, see how having the right people in place works. And continue to let the Sabres be an unmitigated cluster frank. They never even attempt to put experienced (in the roll), successful, hockey people up top.

I just don’t get it.

If there was ever a time to blow this team up and start from scratch, it’s now. Top to bottom. Every player, taxi/AHL that has not panned out goes too.
We may actually get a little something for them with teams desperate to fill their taxi for a deep playoff run.

I’m still on the fence about keep/Trade Eichel, but let’s say keep for now.
Here is what I would keep as our core and build around.

Eichel, Dahlin, Cozens, McCabe, Risto, Olofsson

Fire sale on the rest.

-Sam can probably get us a good return
-Okposo needs to go the Moulson route
-All UFA should get a return with the nature of things this year
-Every coach, scout needs to go
-A real, and I mean real Coach and GM are needed to finally fix this decade long mess

The only way we are going to get any of this done is by sending a message to the other players and GM’s by firing Krueger now.
Then GMKA next

Wouldn't surprise me if Jack shuts if down. And the longer this crap goes on the Pegulas will be hearing more and more of the same stuff from every pundit. I mean learn from your football team, instead of putting spam on the table, go with the Prime Rib

To be fair, they lucked into the prime rib. They did the same nonsense with the football team (hired coach first, no formal structure) and it worked out. They haven't had the same luck on the hockey side.

How many women does serial rapist Cuomo need to come forward before he resigns?]

Don't forget Fauci was praising this guy and liberals gave him an award for leadership

I am not a liberal or a democrat but I don't see what one has to do with the other. It must get exhausting to try to see everything through tribal lenses.

Before any major changes are made maybe find out what the actual root problem is and what has been consistently an issue over many years of failures. Is it the owners, GM´s, coaching staffs, scouting staffs, core players, all players or combinations of issues that are the root.
When there is no consistency in an organization over a number of years and failures at every level it’s hard not to point the finger at the overall leader. Sorry Kim but you’re fired.

Scouting, pro and amateur has been very bad.
We haven’t had a real coach since Ruff. GM’s have been a mixed bag. Staff, mixed bag. It’s such a mess I fear the only way to attract any of the right players, coaches, staff ect is to get a real GM and coach. Sounds easy enough, but we all know the major roadblock on this is the Pegulas

Yes.

He used to pay for a men’s beer league hockey team. He was the goalie.

All the players were high level. He was franking awful. But he paid for everything, so the players put up with it.

He had custom pads with his name on them.

He’s a legend in the beer industry - for all the wrong reasons. Beer guys love telling stories about how everything he did was wrong.

- Atomic Wedgie

Ya I remember reading about his money troubles over the years. He also had the apple juice brand and was it Steelback beer? And then the one commercial I remember was the one with that player. Can’t remember his name. He was an Italian guy with a five o’clock shadow who was a pretty good young player and I think he had the same injury as Derek Roy. He was in a commercial with frank. I even think he played for the tank era Sabres at one point. Can’t remember the guys name. Could have started with Michael.
