True. However, the most problematic aspect of this is that the basis for way too many opinions come from thoughts derived from personal truths that were based upon nothing but gut feelings and/or tribal reinforcement.

And this is exactly my point. Here we were talking about the pursuit of truths and then it jumps right back into politics. Never mind the daily pressers telling us that all was well (or worse) and that this would all be over soon.
