Fun British detective show where cop gets hit by a car and ends up in the 1970s. In this episode he meets Marc Bolan and tries to warn him. Show was called Life on Mars after song he was listening to when he was clipped by car. I got a kick out of T Rex

No, he’s slowly improving 🧐
That and I predicted he would be the best new acquisition in Wedgie’s thread😔 - mr.sir
Most of the new acquisitions have been pretty good. Brodie and Bogo have been good adds on the back end. Simmonds was adding some much needed toughness and energy and was even chipping in some goals at a good pace. Thornton was as expected for an old man(slow but still good hockey sense and passing). Vesey... what the heck does he actually do well? Lol

Wow cannot believe our 3rd and 4th lines aren't more "noticeable". Sure wish they were a tire fire giving up 2-3 goals a game so we noticed them. - jribout
Nothing wrong with the 3rd and 4th lines. But pointing out that Vesey has been a disappointment is valid.

Interesting clip - fact check on the show. In real life Marc Bolan (aka Marc Feld) was really short (not reflected in this clip) He was only 5'5" tall and being the top act in Britain in the early 70's and the originator of glam rock, he (with some others) revived platform shoes - started by Marlene Dietrich in the early 30's

For a guy that had a "Sweepstakes" coming into the League Vesey is pretty disappointing. I don't get it, has he regressed that much already or was he just overhyped? Never seen much of him until he became a leaf. The PP looked like trash last night. They should just load up PP1 until we get some competent bodies back.
Some one a little better would help Engvall and Kerplunk, maybe Nicky Bobby when he comes back. - Garnie
900k for someone who is not hurting us and can kill some penalties is not a disappointment to me. Not sure what we could have expected. Mickeyev is back to the third line

Ironically, and tragically, Bolan never learned to drive as he feared he would die young in a car crash...

He did have his own show and died just after Bowie appeared on it. That Bowie was such a trouble maker. Just ask poor Marrianne Faithfull

I believe what pisses people off about Vesey is that he is more talented than a player like the giraffe, he just doesn't seem to focus or have the drive or the willingness to suffer for the reward of success. This can be said about most underachieving players.
