I don’t think they’ve got their stride at all. I’m giving them at least to the quarter mark to see what they look like. Even last year with a full training camp and some preseason games, they didn’t hit their stride until Well into the new year.

Gonna need a big effort tonight to get points. I expect Boston to be all over them again and us to hang on and rely on hart.

It's a process, still basically in pre-season, it'll come, be patient.

I know it’s a strange year but they have looked so bad for some stretches , it’s very disappointing. Little early to over react but they have been outshot and outchanced in just about every game. Luckily we got some wins.

Hey. I get it. With the loss of nisky, I’ve said I won’t be surprised if there is a regression. Without a real replacement in the top 4, I can’t see us realistically contending. My feeling is that I want them to make the dance and get more experience. I’d say, if hart dominates we could win a round or 2. Of injuries persist though we might not even make it. At least we’re not getting behind I’m the race our of the gate. Right in the mix. As always, a win tonight and we’ll all think the cup is ours haha

I’d love that but I’m objectively assessing The personnel. If hart puts in a conn smythe level performance, sure. With this top 4, I don’t see it yet. If fletch pulls the trigger on a big deal for a top 4 , expectations change. I also said a round or 2. 2 gets you final 4.

With myers ghost coots who will all come back and the time it will take to shake the rust off this group is absolutely capable to win our division. There is no team that is significantly better than us. Especially with good goaltending.

In the final 4 see what happens. I absolutely see a flaw in our top 4 d men but I dont see it as a fatal flaw. None the less I certainly hope we address it.

Why switch Giroux and Voracek? I felt like Jake and Hayes were connecting well.

Agree it appears every team has a flaw. It will get down to who is healthy and gets hot at the end.

Watching NHL network they have top 25 lines of all time. The top 6 were dominated by lines in the 70’s and before, the legion of doom was 3. The goals they show for the older lines I was like they would not be goals. I get stick technology etc but should these older lines be thought of that way???

Defence and goaltending win in the dance. I think it’s a fatal flaw but hope I’m wrong. I hope ghost can come back strong. Love to see him contribute here.

Al isn’t as cute as Hartsy, but he actually gives some insight into the game and his delivery is so much more relaxed. I’d much prefer Al. Hopefully Hartnell will improve with time.
