Great that they've been scoring more goals, but I have to wonder (and I think the Sharks broadcast hinted as much at one point in time), that offense in the NHL in general might be temporarily benefiting from the long break and zero pre-season games.
Regardless, even if they can keep up the goals - I'm still worried about the team offensively. I know defense is the big concern right now, but I think the teams inability to sustain offensive pressure adds a lot more weight on the defensive side.
Seems the sharks struggle to maintain control in the offensive zone - there's no cycling. It's one or two shots and then they're on the chase. |
