There's usually a 6 game exhibition schedule prior to a season start. So, the game last night was game 3 in my book. Yes, I know the games count in the standings, but it's still early to be overly concerned about certain aspects of their game imo.
How do we increase offense...bring up Zegras. I know we need to give the older kids more time in the lineup but honestly they could have some of them on and off the taxi squad.
The team looks better than last year. They're playing more controlled. More together. Thats what Dallas Eakins said he wanted to do. And its paid off in the defensive zone. Making Gibby's job alot easier. Not perfect. Like that faceoff in overtime against Vegas. Still the progress is noticeable. Now if I could just fine a tv package to watch ducks hockey without having to buy a thousand channels I don't want, I'd be happy.
