Another solid game by Paul.

Stützle line has been great...with a little more time, you feel something could spark.

Beauty of a goal.

So far, Murray has been impressive. Hard to nit pick when you’re playing in front of some weak d. That game could’ve easily gotten away if it wasn’t for him.

Good game. With Wolanin out of lineup there is not much speed on back end.

I assume Brannstrom will be added to roster sooner than later.

Have we ever seen a slower power play. Is somebody actually coaching them to play such a deliberate, turgid style.

Thumbs down . Dandanov , he missed a sure goal from a sure scorer?? , and overalll has been invisible in both games.

Thumbs up ;Stutzle, i agree it made the night not seem like a loss...... i was hoping Watson was going to answer Muzzin.
Yep the leafs werethe better team. Their power play is impressive.

The Sens look like a team thats going to require a few more games to get their legs under them.

Not such a pretty performance by the Sens last night. Leafs looked damn gorgeous though!

Good luck to the Leafs in their quest to get back to the playoffs in 2021!

Maybe this is the year that TML win a playoff round after failing to do so for 16 straight years.

Yup! Senators have some real great pieces. I could talk poop about your team and especially your owner but I’d rather talk hockey and you ah e some great pieces. Couple years your team does some damage in playoffs

that's debatable....just a lot of perimeter work and cycling, without a lot of high danger scoring chances (i think both teams were pretty even in that category).

the leafs have looked pretty m'eh so far through 3 games......they'll be hard pressed to win the division, and have ZERO chance of actually being competitive against actual contenders (of which they are not), if they keep playing like they have.

you say they looked gorgeous.......the sens played like poop....and the leafs only won by a single goal. doesn't bode well for the leafs.

Actually Im done with both of our Tampa acquisitions.
And while I was watching we never seemed to win a face off.

Murray has looked good.

Colin White should always be in the line up.

Cobourn has been fine, although i would rather Wolanin in there.

Paquette has been hot steaming garbage. zero chance he should be in there over Galchenyuk

Another trade win for the Sens, Nick Paul on the rise, Spezza likely retiring

If i could choose 1 team ,outside the north division . That i could watch vs the Sens. I would go with NYI

Mike, no thumbs up for Nick Paul? His speed is definitely improved and should give the Sens another physical presence.

Obviously Stutzle's goal was his highlight, but the physicality he showed in drawing that questionable penalty towards the end of the game has me more excited about his long-term place on this team. The kids isn't afraid to hit or get hit and keeps coming.

Haven't been impressed with Dadonov at all so far. At 5v5 he's seemed invisible at best and out of position. Paquette is in the same boat. Coburn is what he is, and I don't think has be egregious, but with the talent in the pipeline, it would be nice to see someone else get some time. Not sure what the thinking was in benching Wolanin. He hasn't really played a meaningful game in almost 2 years and wasn't the worst Senator on the back end after game 1.

i agree that he should be playing, but he ABSOLUTELY was the worst player on that blueline after game 1. He was invisible in the offensive zone, and was AWFUL in his own zone (he had at least 4 brutal giveaways that i can remember off the top of my head). i attritbute it mostly to rust for sure, but he deserved to sit after the way he played.

Dadonov has been OK. I noticed him a few times int he first two games. Although he should have buried that chance to tie the game on Saturday considering hes supposed to be a goal scorer.

I understand the 'idea' behind Paquette, in terms of setting a physical tone and being tough to play against. But Smith needs to be consistent in terms of earning your ice time... not to mention allowing a player like Galchenyuk to prove that he can contribute. God knows they looked like they needed another couple of top-6 forwards out there on Saturday night, not more of the 3rd/4th line grind.

Further to this point, by TOI their #1C right now is Chris Tierney and their #1W is Connor Brown, which doesn't really feel like such a good idea, especially given that they have just 1 SOG combined. Surely if you've got guys like Stepan/Dadonov in the lineup, they should be playing more substantial minutes and trying to open up offensive chances for the young talent like Tkachuk/Batherson... not watching your 3rd line play dump and chase.

except that he's been easy to play against.....when he's on the ice (and not in the box for taking a dumb penalty) the sens are getting OWNED and consistently pinned in their own end.
