You can't really replicate the actual Cinnabon experience though. It's like a Big Mac. They put some kind of special crack in it.

Don't you find the meat a little too lean for a burger?

I don't really notice that tbh. They're pretty common in AB.

This is what people don't seem to understand. A NHL goalie's job is literally to make a save on the tough chances. If it weren't, they would all make league minimum and teams would just throw anyone in net.

AA's takes on Ander7en's goals were generous to Ander5en, to say the least. He also ignored the whiff on a dribbler that almost ended up in the net, or getting beat on the shortside by a long distance wrist shot, and the post bailed him out... or the number of times he was flopping around the ice out of position.

Ander10n is a below average starter and that is being generous. The Leafs play like they are terrified when he is in net.

I agree with this 100%. No goalie gets paid millions to only make saves he should make.

I was a huge Freddy fan the last 4 years but the last year has been very bad. He is 32 and has regressed, for sure. Is it as much as we think he has? The next 10 games will tell us a lot.

I really wonder how much teams will poach players on waivers given the circumstances this year. I would not be surprised if there is an unspoken agreement there.
- Aetherial

I would think so. I doubt the Leafs would (frank) over a vet like Spezza after 3 games if they thought he was gonna get claimed.

I would imagine Spezza would be to open a slot on the 2nd PP.

So Lehtonen and Boyd draw in?

Wonder if Anderson is brought up.

Goalies are fair game.

But barely above replacement players are probably safe.

I challenge people to really zero in on how poor mcdcvid and dri are without the puck this week vs the Leafs. Pick their game apart like we do with AM and Marner.

- Santo_44

I will

The thing is, they are so good offensively, I think they earned a bit of a pass. It is when you have guys that are not producing anywhere near their salary or potential, and they are making stupid, lazy plays all over the ice, that it becomes a problem.

Because you were doing an exhaustive review of his performance. You need to consider the horrible plays where he got lucky, AND do you really think the guys on the team don't notice that stuff.

Fine. Watch the Jets top 6 then statistically their d is much worse than Torontos top 6. So lets be as hard on them as we do the leafs and see where that takes us.

Monteal lost Juulsen recently on the waiver wire and Dubas seems reluctant to risk Dell. So I dunno...

Then again, I would imagine now that the season has started cross-boarder claims are probably unlikely(ish)? (14 day isolation)

Like Marner in the last minute last night where he followed up a great game with two tremendous attempts to throw it away.

I am thinking about situations where a team gets into trouble and has to expose someone because of injury... I could be being overly generous to the GMs' good will

That would be a dirty, dirty move but a big reason why Dell is being held back. Then again, goalies are probably the exception to the rule?
