How was the Ivan Provorov - Shayne Gostisbehere pairing?

Suddenly the Morin experiment is a tragically bad idea.
Patrick is going to be hit sooner or later so there is the possibility this gives him even more confidence.
Someone might want to tell Couturier to keep his eye on Morin lest he gets the Gudas treatment.

I’m curious about Ghost and Provorov pairing myself.

Lol. How Flyers would it be if this cockamamie Morin idea comes back to bite them in the ass via injury? Plind would have a field day.

No, I suspect it is because he actually read the blog.

"There was a nervous moment in the second half when Morin attempted to throw a check on Max Willman and accidentally made heavy contact with Nolan Patrick."

Thanks Bill! I for one am Glad NoPa took a big hit. I don’t want him injured but I have to know he can handle it! Bill, you said he looked strong before the hit, how was he after the hit? And hesitation?!

From the blog:

"Fortunately, Patrick went back to the bench and, after sitting at the end of the bench for a short time, went to the middle and got ready for his next shift. Patrick seemed no worse for the wear afterwards"

G was hitting people as well. So by your logic if G hit NOPA you would want to take G off the ice?

It is hockey, a rough sport. I would rather have NOPA tested now then later. He will be hit much harder in a game!

Might as well see if Patrick can take it. No team will lay off him.

Franking love Jake. They asked him what he’s seen from Patrick in camp and he said “he’s ready“

If he comes out of this unscathed then it hopefully will add to his confidence that he is back..(ie he feels fine tomorrow)....hopefully he can get through to the regular season.

Bill, who's the surprise candidate possibly cracking a possible spot? Any takes on Morin and his position?

Bill! Good call on the new blog. Nothing like an update on training camp to side swipe an attack on the capital and listening to people defend this nonsense because BLM did it too. Well congratulations Trump supporters, you one upped us today.

I do not think that people are supporting it; they are pointing out that if individuals supported the "mostly" peaceful protests over the summer, the establishment of chaz, and the looting and burning of multiple cities, yet object to this are hypocrites, and they do not support views that differ from their own; these actions show that only one view, their view is to be supported and championed.

LOL. So get him out of there because Patrick can't be hit. There are no pre-season games and the season starts in a week. How do you prepare for that? By having an all star game with no physical play?

Boy you really don't get the game of hockey.

People can support the cause of the BLM protests, and the protests themselves, as I very strongly do, while condemning in harsh terms the violence associated with the morons who caused it.

People can also support Trump, and condemn the violence today, as I am sure many do.

You do need to look not just the raw incidents but their symbolic value. For the same reason that a drug related shooting in Philly =/ to JFK assassination.

This is the first time in the last forever in US history that a President has refused to accept results after the electoral college votes.

This is the first time that a President has called a rally asking for disruption and delay of certification.

This is the first time a mob has taken over the US Capitol.

And many more.

One can condemn both form of violence, but it is nonsense to equate the level of horrendousness of the two and believe you are providing some form of enlightened moderation if you do. You are simply incapable of gradation.
