this is by far the easiest division to be in, and I don't think its close. a playoff spot is all but guaranteed for Carolina

Battling CLB, FL, Nashville, and Minnesota for 2nd place is a lot better than battling CLB, NYR, NYIs and Pittsburgh just to get into the playoffs as a wildcard / 3rd place.

One positive is that with no fans or low numbers of them, that awful "its all your fault" goal chant from Nashville fans wont be much of thing. Just dumb.

I am not upset with this divisional alignment at all. However, if all games are played within the division as proposed there are not many historical rivalries within the division other than Detroit and Chicago fighting for draft position.
