I think most of us are on the players side. If I was the owners though, I’d watch out. If you defer too much, you could set yourself up for quite the crunch when the payments come due

Players are only guaranteed 50% of Hockey Related Revenue

With no fans in the stands, escrow at 20% is not going to be enough to make up the shortfall, and it's the players responsibility to receive only 50% as that is what is negotiated in the CBA

If players think they are going to receive 80% of their salaries (This seasons base plus deferrals) for playing a 35-48 game season mostly without fans they are mistaken

More on the ECHL situation - Expect the entire North Division to cease operations for the season. That's Adirondack, Brampton, Maine, Newfoundland, Reading and Worcester. Official announcement expected around 2ET.

I think the players have really been good partners time and time again. There is no reason to accept that additional percentage. The reality is that the owners are billionaires. I am a pens fan and the reality is that Ron Burkle is the majority partner. He is a billionaire several times over. Just because they dont want to spend the $ doesnt mean they dont have the $. Same is true with all the other franchises. What did it cost to buy in for vegas? For the new AZ owner?

I am 100% behind the players. This is weak.

The players wanted to be like owners and share in the profits, well what about when there are no profits? Do you now say just give us our salaries and you take the losses! Is that fair? Did you not insist on this? Well my dear players when you are a business owner sometimes you lose money and that's the real world. This is a very unique situation and everyone needs to compromise. Please let's not act like our political parties and attack each other instead of working together for the good of the people. If you don't the only alternative is NO HOCKEY AND NO PAYCHECK!

You must have really scared the cats screaming like that in the house!

Is that a fleshlight on top of the jersey on the bed at the end of the video? I am sure one of our experts here can confirm...

I expected the players assume none of the risk argument, completely ignoring we have countless ex players walking around with various degrees of being braindead or having chronic debilitating head issues.

When I was a teenager I wasted an hour and a half on that steaming pile of poop movie in the theatre. I'm so "smart", I also saw the sequel in the theatre with some girl

that was the one time I was ever forced to sit in the very front row of the movie theater because it was so packed and that scene with the close up I could actually see up her nostrils

I have to say, I've watched some pretty bad movies in the theatre before, I think that one I was the most disappointed leaving. Given the amount of hype, it just fell flat with me and that's coming from someone who watched the Clooney Batman movies in the theatre.

Ever walk out of a movie theater because the movie was so bad?
I did twice: Bonfire of the Vanities and The English Patient. Both were date movies that my girlfriend chose and we were both like: " this sucks, we're outta here".

I walked out of the ring 2. I remember saying to my girlfriend at the time “if I see one more (frank)ing reindeer I’m out of here.” And then an entire field of reindeer appeared
