I disagree with how you conceptualize 'reasonable'. Even if he jumps up and sees time with McDavid, I think closer to 30-35 points qualifies as reasonable. A pace of 37 EV strength point over 82 games is the kind of production you expect out of top-6 players.

Jesse Puljujärvi (Finnish: [ˈje̞sse̞ ˈpuljuˌjærvi]; born May 7, 1998) is a Swedish-born Finnish professional ice hockey player currently playing on loan for Oulun Kärpät of the Liiga while under contract to the Edmonton Oilers in the National Hockey League (NHL). Rated as a top prospect, Puljujärvi was drafted fourth overall by the Oilers in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.[1]

Anyhow.....136km/hr shot is 84.5mph - is that supposed to get us wet? Do like all the wrister snipes but the assumption that his accuracy has improved (by missing legs) could also just be him getting lucky? Not trolling at all, just saying. 12ginos/82 would be a positive return imo for this whippersnapper.

I'm interested to see what lines are rolled out.
Kahun play with his buddy and Yammer?

Neal play with Ennis and Turris on the 3rd line?
Or does one of those wingers play with McD?
Poor Archibald had a reasonably decent season but is bound for the pressbox?

Maybe a realistic 4th line is Neal-Khaira-Chaisson.

Lets see how JP fairs & if he still looks lost out there. Not sold his mind is as fast as the pace. If maturity means anything this will be much improved. Poor handling of him set him back & a fresh start could go either way.

Pool Party's parents moved back home to Finland when he was four years old and he plays for the Finnish National Team. He's a Finn.

I think he has a decent chance at being top six but he has to get the job done when the opportunity arrives. My prediction is either boom or bust and it is about 50/50. I compare this to M. Grigorenko coming back to the Blue Jackets after being dominant in the KHL. He was supposed to be a nhl star like Pulujarvi but both lacked consistency and were forced to leave. We shall see what happens for both of them.

Hey may get 40-50 points in everything works out perfectly for him and he produces, or he may be up and down the line up all year and struggle to fit in.
Some young players are more impactful in the NHL than their junior or minor league careers suggest.
Some players work and will themselves to exceed expectations in the NHL.
Some players can’t keep up in the NHL, some can’t think at the NHL game pace.
Some players physically dominate in Jr but are just average amongst men in the NHL.
Some players are unlucky.
Some players are unwilling.
Some players simply don’t have the mix or total package to make their Kung-Fu effective in the NHL.

Who is JP? Nobody knows for sure, you all are simply guessing/hoping/speculating.

I think it all depends on whether he eats the hotdogs before or after the game.

136.1 km/h is about 84 mph. Hardly a fastest shot contest contender.

You think his ethnicity changes by what land he's born on?

Would he magically transform into Japanese if he was born in Japan?

Holy (frank) Bud....you’re probably the kind of guy that doesn’t consider People born in Canada to be Canadians if their parents were both born in Pakistan.
