Bob Murray has been a GM 6 years longer than MacLellan which is an important deciding point. He has generally been very successful in maintaining a competitive team over the years. Like all teams the day eventually comes where you need to do a rebuild. His choice of Drysdale at number 6 in this years draft was an excellent pick that will solidify the backend for years. This is some of the reasons why I voted for him.
I have to disagree with you, but it's a close one.
I believe Mac has done very well, doesn't make risky moves yet stays creative, something MacPhie wasn't able to do.
