Seems an unusually high # of votes, Bill, based on the "All Province" team responses you had started to put out earlier this year.

Are we sure MJL did not vote 100 times?🤗

Yo, don't be sarcastic about such important issues here. Given the way this board rock and rolls, too many will take your comment at face value.

I had a tough time with choosing a goalie. I loved Bernie and Pelle, but compared to current-day goalies they just aren’t as good. Would little guys like them even get a look these days in the NHL?

Clarke: 3 Hart trophies, a Selke trophy, captained/led the team to 2 Cups and 4 trips to the SCF

Lindros: 1 Hart, 1 trip to the SCF

I love Lindros but it really shouldn’t be close.

It's closer to typical polls we do. The All-Province thing, quite frankly, was a bust and it was also done at a time, mid-NHL "pause" when traffic in general was hard to come by.

how do states knowing full well this was going to happen before let it actually happen....Florida is actually the smart state? seems a tad ridiculous that some have there act totally together yet others are allowed to be a cluster (frank) on such an important issue.

agreed....but some of these guys never saw Clarke play...so I get that as these poll's get further from the broad street bully era....the younger guys are going to get more votes....I agree this shouldn't be close.

im obviously deliberating on Lindros skill and size vs Clarke, not taking resumes into account

I’d still go with Clarke because at the end of the day, even if he had to kill himself or someone else, Clarke would find a way to win. When it came to doing anything and everything to win a game, series, or Cup, Clarke was on a level that no other Flyer ever reached.

So, given the current projections... if Biden wins WI and MI, and Trump wins PA, NC, GA, and NV... we'd have a 270-270 tie in the Electoral College.

One thing I think we can all agree on, regardless of candidate preference, is to be thankful we don't have to have a shootout to break this tie.

Unlikely Trump wins Nevada. Else the campaign would not file suit to stop counting in an area that is white minority.

Betting markets, that were at Biden +350 last night are now +350 Trump

In Georgia, most of the remaining votes are from Atlanta and suburbs. Of all things, a water break in Fulton County vote processing center disrupted proceedings at a very critical stage with Biden rapidly making up ground!

I was up all night. At about 3:30 AM or so, at a very, very critical juncture, Brown County (that includes Green Bay) in Wisconsin stopped counting because the vote counting machine ran out of ink!

Here is a screenshot of my phone from early morning:

The whole world waited, and then, then, it was announced that:

Wouldn't you think that in a country that thinks of itself as the leader of the world, with such a high turnout predicted, would have some extra printer ink cartridges handy for the machines?

Absolutely - Bobby Clarke was a much better player during his era. But a lot of young people on this site never got to witness him play.

I saw Clarke play, in fact he was my favorite player growing up and why I became a Flyers fan. However I voted for Lindros though I was torn in doing so. The reason I did was putting everything else aside, I gauged Lindros' dominance when healthy vs. Clarke's dominance when healthy, which he mostly was. When I compared the two players this way, Lindros to me was just the more dominant player, who can and did take over games, while Clarke was a better leader and facilitator. For this reason, I picked Lindros.

Hey we agree on something. Absolutely makes sense to have headache boy over the guy. Who 2 cups, who’s your all time points leader, and one one of the all time greatest leaders in the game. Said nobody ever. Anyone that said lindros over Clarke is just dumb
