I thought he was talking to Oilers short term deal minutes ago? Your source must be on a time zone delay |

Wow, third liners are going for 1 million on the market. Its a mistake to spend over 4 million in the current marketplace. The next highest offer was under 2 million. This bloated contract is insane. Either Bergevin overvalued this player or he is completely misreading the market. This is as foolish as taking on a sub-replacement level back-up goaltender with a contract of 4+ million, when better were available on the market for far less. The money wasted could have been spent on a goal scorer, which is what the team needs. Hall could have been had for less than what was wasted on these less than mediocre talents.
Bergevn may argue that Allen is a great choice for back-up or Tofolli is a second liner, but intelligent fans cannot simply ignore the truth. He should not treat fans like trump supporters. Fans don't believe such obvious lies. Some of us have scouted these players for years. |

Yes, correction.
Edmundson/Romanov - Petry
Edmundson/Romanov - Fleury/Juulsen
Then you have Meat and Kulak as injury replacements unless someones getting moved. Kulak can also play RD. |

This is likely the best roster they've had in a very long time. Management really went after it this off-season, you love to see it.

Don't see any 20/25 goal scorers signing for one million. Whatever time it took you to post that was a complete waste of everyones time. Your own included |

What total croc...I’m no Bergevin fan boy, but dude rocked this off-season...the Habs are a legitimate playoff team... they can roll 3 decent lines... yes 2 very young centers but up and comers... and two great wings now who are gamers in Anderson’s and Tofolli .. add in Tatar and the great Gally and they are looking very good... the mystery is Drouin and can they stay healthy...if they stay healthy...that big D is gonna smother a lot of teams.... great off season by the Habs...wow can’t wait for hockey to start! |

Actually, I believe MB just played his career. This is not an easy place to attract UFAs, but I am glad that he rolled the dice. If you think getting Hall was better, let’s talk about it at the end of the next season. Now that he signed for one year, am I ever glad we passed or vice Versa. 4 good moves, Chapeau and good luck to MB, looking forward to next year.
