Great, added some 5on5
scoring, which definitely has been an issue. Decent price tag for 20 goals. Shores up the 3rd line with Coyle. Still need something on the second line.

Classic Don move, i’m underwhelmed.

Yeah, too bad free agency is over and Don missed all the big names, right?

??? Hall's not signed, Taffoli's not signed, Hoffman's not signed...any one of these guys would be a good (great) possible 2RW. I like this signing in terms of improving the team and value. Still plenty of time for a bigger splash (hopefully).

And he has decent size and plays a bit heavy...we need that!

I don’t hate it, but you just spent $$$ that could have went to bigger fish.

I would like to see Coyle moved up to the 1st line with Berg and March. Put Pasta with Krejci. Gives you two nice lines.

Perhaps bring in a serviceable 3rd line center. Gives you opportunity to move Coyle around. Even....Coyle/Smith/Krejci

Stud is your next up center...sink or swim on the third line. I don't necessarily disagree with your lineup but hopefully there's another piece, significant hopefully, added to the puzzle. If that's the case, Coyle stays 3C and Smith plays with Coyle and (insert body here) and then let Stud be 4C with Kuraly and Wags.

Actually put Stud at 3LW and put Fredrick at 4C (he's got some snarl).

I just like Coyle a lot and think he can produce more in top 6. However he is a terrific 3rd line Center. If Bos brought in Hall, kept Coyle 3C, the forward group would be absolutely lethal.

Actually any one of them (Hall, Tafolli, or Hoffman) would bring significant improvement.

Can't believe the Bruins lost out on Taffoli...he signed for a measly $4.25M for 4 years. What the frank Don?!!!
