You got to have depth and you need defensemen who can show a young defenseman how to play his position. You have no idea how valuable having proven veterans on the ice, on the bench, in the locker room and outside of the bubble of hockey. Hajek, Miller and Lindgren are humans just as much as they are hockey players and I promise you that the easiest way to ruin a young defensemans development is by sending him out to sink or swim in the top-4 without any NHL experience.

Something tells me without a vaccine there isn’t going to be a season. Look at how many players/staff in TN have tested positive and now Cam Newton is positive for covid. If it spreads across the team with a 14 day quarantine, the NFL season is in jeopardy. The NHL was able to finish the season/playoffs bc they went straight into the bubble, I don’t think that will be an option for an entire season.
