That is a steep price, Laine IS an incredible player he's already technically had 4 30+ goal seasons and is still only 22. This season he showed he can do more than just score goals, starting to learn to play more of 2-way game, 6'5 210, big body that can score at will is exactly what the Habs need. Habs do not have a legit superstar at forward yet even though Gally is still a superstar in my heart. It's possible the contract negotiations muddied the waters a bit for the Jets but I still say they'd be really stupid to move on from him at 22 if they didn't have to. The opposing GM would have to overpay big time and Chevy would have to be blown away. I still hope we trade Drouin.
