Carol Schram: Travis Green's contract extension should be Job 1 on Canucks' to-do list We've got two rounds of playoff hockey still ahead, but the real work starts now for the Vancouver Canucks as the club navigates and important and challenging offseason.

I’m not sure Makita will be on-board with this blog

We've been flirting with World War 3 for a while on these boards...this might just be the catalyst needed to push things over the edge.

You just have to know which buttons to push on certain people and it can be total chaos, bloated and I have it down pat

Now that our team is out, I’m sure the temporary unity we experienced on this board will die ( with the exception of our allegiance to Carol)

I hope Benning does go after a draft pick only because I like a first this year more than next year.

Ottawa has said they are hoping to get a couple younger nhl players, in exchange for draft picks.
Any of Virtanen, Gaudette and Stecher may interest them.

I’d be good with this, also if they can’t sign Marky, I bet someone would give a 3rd to be able to negotiate early with him.

If Markstrom isn't going to be signed, you take whatever you can get for him

Thanks Carol!

They've stayed pretty much on track — and are actually a couple of days ahead of schedule, even after the two-day pause during Round 2.

And they still made the Canucks and Vegas play back-to-back for game 7

I seen an interesting thought from a guy on Social Media. He said the rights of Markstrom and the rights of Tanev to Toronto for Freddy Andersson.

Toronto has a lot of cap to move in order to get those 2 signed.

Not really . They have 8 mil in space and Andersson has 5 mil on his contract that gives them 13 mil to sign them both.IT fills their two biggest needs.

They are going to still need to move cap but they have to do that anyways.

I could see Colorado making a serious pitch for Markstrom.

I would be happy if we could get 1 of their many picks in the 2nd round.

He is but if he is asking too much? Dhaliwal reported they are not close on contract talks.
