His name was brought up by one of ours in the comment section as was the 2020 1st rounder. His analytics are meh and he seems to have been struggling as of late. I like him just not ready to go 8oa

Like the idea of Copp. I also think that RFA's Domi, Gaudette and Tierney could be pursued. But one interesting possibility is to look at AZ. They just lost a first and second round pick as penalties. They have a new owner and will have a new GM. What about taking the #8 pick + Mittelstadt/Asplund and trade for Christian Dvorak. He is signed for four more years and is a good face-off man. I think he would put up more points with better wingers.

To much for Dvorak I would say . Also he’s not looking like a classic top two centre . Honestly I would look for a winger for jack and make the centre a work in progress . Not much attainable out there right now .

Sabres have talked regarding Monahan, the 8th was talked about also as was Montour.
All starting points for now.

You seriously believe that ? why would they spend on him again ? Only way I see it is they move 68 to RW and the 2nd line. Still no 2nd line center. Hall isn't worth the money. Last on only time they Sabres were linked to Hall was the Hall for Risto deal that Murray said no to.

Personally I would value Monahan higher than Dvorak but the Dvorak contract makes this interesting. Monahan is a good faceoff guy too.

Sorry to jump in but a 30 year old lw who could be cancer in the locker room or imo is a pre-monda plus a hefty price tag and term probably you guys should pass. A couple of really good years i will give him that.
