Great team effort by the boys. Trotz has them believing. They play like this they can beat anyone.

real choppy the first 10 minutes, but they settled down after that. Caps became more and more dysfunctional as the minutes went by, and Ovi was gassed.

Not an impressive effort by Caps, and the Isles made them pay. Judging from the caps post game interviews, they believe this series is over. I'm sure they will recover their confidence....a little.

I wonder if perhaps the bubble is having a more of an effect on some teams than others. Especially teams that have won the Cup recently.

I wonder if perhaps the bubble is having a more significant effect on some teams than others. Especially teams that have won the Cup recently.

I was just thinking about that after Rask bailed out on Boston. The real tight teams may fair better than others. Maybe. I do think the bubble stress (and not getting laid) is making some of these series edgy and physical. Everyone wants to get home, and nobody is in the mood for any sheet.

I've had a long standing theory that good teams need the crowd factor. I also think that the bubbles are cursed by demons and the NHL should fly Zak Bagans in to take care of it

I think it's having more of an effect than players are admitting. We will probably hear more about it as the playoffs continue and teams are eliminated.

Hookers are supplied to the teams to take care of this. It was item 1a on the return to play plan e4

I hope we do. It’d be a curious case study.

I sure as poop didn’t advocate for that tripe. He must have just recently picked me as a source.

He has a wheel of usernames at home which he uses. It's mostly garbage like Kooleus, but once in a while there's a decent one.

Bettman said he'd "take care of them" and then handed their info to Slava Voynov's agent.

I wonder if this year just doesn't mean as much to them. They know the winner this year won't get full credit for winning the cup. It will always have and asterisk next to it.

It’s possible. Does anyone feel that way about Chicago’s lockout Cup? That’d be closest comparable in my mind.

I don't really agree that this year will have an asterisk. More teams made the playoffs than ever before, there is NO home crowd to help pump you up. The cup winner this year will have earned it...no different than any other year. That's my opinion of course
