For those who are disappointed that the Habs lost their shot at Laferenière, of course it would have been great to be able to draft him but you cannot ask professional athletes to lose on purpose. Besides, the Canadiens only would have had a 12.5% chance of landing him. There's no point in wallowing in self-pity now, that ship has sailed so just hop on the playoff train and enjoy the ride! However long it lasts....

I also thought I might have mixed feelings before the series started, but they started dissipating right after game 1. now the only "concern" I have is about the possibility of TOR or PIT getting the #1 pick, which could be very annoying, but oh well. Lafrenière doesn't guarantee a cup, and it's not impossible to build a good team either even if you don't grab him...
