they seem to have taken a defensive posture for this series, which is for the best. opening it up would just lead to 6-3 losses. but their transition game last night was nonexistent which is disappointing.

Drouin has been a bust....Yzerman fleeced Bergevin.....Domi on the 2nd line might be better but it isn't a solution. He wants to be a C not a winger...

I think Julien's plan is to have Domi take Crosby's out of his game and shut him down. He slashes him every time the ref is not looking.

They are boxing them out, just those penalties..

At this point, try Poehling with Suzuki. Won't be worse defensively...But Julien will bump up Lehkonen before that happens.

Weal and Horseface McGee haven't been lights out, and God knows I don't want to see Weal on the 2nd PP unit any more. Switch Drouin and Domi, as suggested by our valued blogger, and put Drouin on a line combo with Poehling and Evans. They can fight over who plays centre. Evans has been playing on a more defensive role lately, so it could work. Let's face it, we're lucky to be tied, if we keep playing the way we are, we're toast anyways. So throw the kids on, Claude, and tell them...
