If we’re allowed a 31 player roster why would we only bring 30 players? Serious question, I don’t understand why we would just leave a player who could jump in due to injury or any other reason for that matter out? Maybe I’m missing something?

I think I would give Green a shot over Johny Rocket. I say this because I think Green
has better skating ability over Boychuck.

Very good point Cpt. I thought for sure Bellows would get the nod.

Only thing I can think of is that Sorokin has to be part of the 31 to be able to practice, so they saved a spot for him. But I thought the league said he only would be counted against the 52 person limit.

The plan is to paint a big 'S' on a giant squid and use it to fill the roster.

NHL just released all 24 postseason rosters. Sorokin is listed on #Isles 31-player group as "ineligible," but seemingly still counts, as do ineligibles Kaprizov (MIN) and Romanov (MTL).

Also, before one of you old farts has a stroke, that Sorokin was wearing Billy Smith's retired number, Staple was wrong and corrected himself later.

Both him and Johnston will have long, incredible, careers while making us look bad with other teams. Book it.
