I would look harder at a Sabres deal with the Coyotes. They have the space to take Stepan (need a veteran Center) and maybe take Crouse or the Coyotes 2nd Rd pick as a sweetener. Maybe also consider flipping Raanta for Hutton. That would open up the cap space AZ needs to sign Hall.

Somebody is gonna take on a cap casualty trade from Tampa. Can't avoid it. That'd be colluding. Detroit, Ottawa, even Montreal are primed with cap space to take on some decent players from Tampa. Nice problem to have if you're Tampa.
