In order to develop and implement a game plan focused on puck possession and offensive creativity, you have to have the roster and the players to play like that. The Coyotes don't. Tanner, it takes more than talent. Tocchett knows more about hockey than you do, that's why he is coaching in the NHL and well, you're blogging on Hockeybuzz. Which apparently has no standard.

Terminator 2 is one of the very rare instances of a sequel surpassing the original.

Will any more Arnold movies make the cut?

True lies is a classic, and has one of the best lines in movie history.

Terminator 2 > Terminator

How dare you suggest otherwise.

That being said, I also liked the Sarah Connor Chronicles TV show. Summer Glau

I think Hayton probably should have the edge to getting minutes given that he already has nhl games under his belt and his experience on North American ice. Soderstrom it tough to say, he had a great world juniors but at the same time he did just about as well to above average as to what you’d expect out of a 19 year old offensive D man in the Swedish league in his D+1 year. Given the question mark of wether he’s NHL ready and the transition to North American ice I could see one of the veteran’s having the edge for a spot, perhaps if they have a hard time getting their legs back soderstrom would then see some time but otherwise I’d doubt it.

All that aside though it’s likely we see a young team win the cup. A lot easier for a bunch of early 20 year olds to knock rust off and get into game shape than the guys around 30 give or take a few years.

Loved the music/ soundtrack for Terminator and the minimalist approach to dialogue. Like Alien, that approach built suspense and made the move 10x better than it was.

Really hard to pick between T1 and T2, personally T2 hit me harder with the emotional ending but T1 is just a classic. Really interested to see what the next Arnie movie is, some good ones to choose from.

I would like to see the Yotes dress Hayton for game 1 as well and give him a chance to prove what he can do. Maybe he comes in and has a great camp, never know.

My guess is True Lies, Predator would also be a great choice. Conan would be ok but yeah I wouldn't say it's better than either of those.

You can't see it, but I'm yawning right now. The Coyotes can't play a style like the Leafs for one very important reason. They don't have that kind of offensive talent in their lineup. They have a collection of decent to meh 2nd and 3rd line players. Tocchet pushes a low event, defensive game because they don't stand a chance in a shooting match. That's the hand he was dealt. If you bothered to watch hockey you'd see it within 10 minutes.

Tanner has no understanding of the actual game of hockey. If he can't see it on a website or a spreadsheet, it doesn't exist.

Example: "We don't know how good Ed Jovanovski was because there were no analytics then".

Tanner do you really have that low an opinion of Grabner to call him replacement level? We must be watching different games

This is spot on!
Yet Tanner wants them to play a track meet style of hockey and lose games 8-3.
Anybody looking at that line-up can see that their only chance of winning is with low event hockey, Which they do fairly well......Which means?
Tocchet is a good coach(age need not be a factor whether a coach is good or not)

I think Grabner has never fully recovered from that horrific eye injury he had a couple seasons ago when he got clipped under the visor by a stick.
