it's Zibanejad and I don't think it's close. that guy is an amazing player, and gets very little love.

I miss him in Ottawa

You should. That trade literally could not have turned out better for us!
While I get your sentiment, I disagree that Zibby was underrated for the Rangers this year. He and Panarin were the driving force one way or another night in, night out. No Rangers fan, at least, could be in the know and not realize how important he was for us.

basing this choice on CF% instead of watching every minute of this team like I do is pretty pathetic

Jesper Fast is the answer

But Tony DeAngelo is a good answer too

I dont think Zibanejad can be considered underrated anymore, we got ourselves a superstar

i'm sure the rangers and their fans appreciate what Zibby brings, but I think he is underrated outside of the organization. you rarely hear his name spoken with the other high end players in the league, and you should.....at least, we don't hear much about him in the Canadian media, but i'm sure the NY media talks about him a lot.

You are most likely accurate about that!
I believe I read that the Rangers organization talked with him about not letting his music endeavors get in the way of his hockey career, and man did he take it to heart!!! His play has skyrocketed in the short time since.

Man, i really don't think Zib is underrated at all. I think he's rated rather respectfully.

Personally, I'd go with DeAngelo

I think Tony was underated, got a bit more attention this year, but yeah, not a bad answer.

Still has to be Fast though. The guy does everything and always at a high tempo. He isn't the flashiest guy, but he is good at all aspects. There is a reason the team voted him the Players Player award 4 years in a row.

It also has to count for something he is 28 and looks like he hasn't graduated HS yet.
