I was a bit surprised to see the majority saying they weren’t necessarily happy with how it went. I like Amadio and he’s a solid fit in the bottom-six but having said that, I suppose he didn’t produce at the levels some may have expected him to.

I think that you misinterpreted the results. We, or at least I, voted with the majority because we have no expectations for Amadio. He wasn't disappointing or anything to get excited about, so we "don't feel strongly about it either way." In other words, he did enough for us to not be upset with him, but not enough that we'd miss him if he were to simply disappear. He's just a big "meh."

I wouldn't be sad if I never saw Amadio again. He's definitely not in the vision that I have of the Kings of the future. The Kings have a logjam at bottom six forward. In 2 or 3 years, I foresee the bottom six looking something like this:

Kempe-Madden-Fagemo
Grundstrom-JAD-Wagner

If Amadio is still around as the 13th/14th forward, I suppose I wouldn't be too upset. Gotta have a utility man around to plug into the lineup in case of injury.
