Thanks for the mercy killing of the last blog.

When play resumes the possibility exists that not every player will return to the team, so I could see Lias getting a spot in the roster if he is willing to return.

yeah, when I first saw this this morning I immediately thought to myself that if Kakko cant play because of the diabetic factor then Andersson could fill in bottom 6 duties

Kakko I don’t think we’ll be here. It’s to risky to for his health. Maybe he takes his spot

I hope Lemieux is better. He really sucked as the season went on. Don't know if it was conditioning or what, but if we could have a decent 3rd line, that would be fantastic. Same for Kakko, he looked tired

Wait, why is Lemieux getting suspended?

Lemieux looked like poop for sure.

I really hope Kakko plays. It's not like he's a fat american diabetic (I know he does have increased risk).

I had to look it up too. For a hit on Joonas Donskoi.

Last game before the break and a completely unnecessary penalty. Wrote about it in blog recap on game: https://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog.php?post_id=104754

When Lias left Hartford and went back home to Sweden, his agent tweeted out a demand for Andersson to be traded. Was the trade demand ever rescinded? I haven't seen it.

As long as the Rangers have him under contract doesn't really matter what they demand

No --- I am thinking about how he will be received in the locker room, especially if they don't retract the trade demand.

It did however look that unnecessary.
This is the problem with Lemeiux. He was not out of shape, or out of gas. He is an idiot who doesn't understand how to fill a role to help the team. He thinks emitting a "tough guy" presence on the ice helps the team. Meanwhile, he takes ridiculous penalties and makes the opposition want to make him pay on the scoreboard while he sits in the box.

Yeah, that started towards the middle to end of the season. You wonder if he was just spent. He was pretty damn effective in the beginning of the season.

Maybe frustrated too, because he was getting some penalties that were clearly just because of his name

My favorite is Cliff says that 80% of all deaths are caused by accidents in the home. And Carla says "so were you"

So good!

Anyone that thinks Kakko should play, with is condition and covid lingering, is out of their mind. It’s proven diabetes is no bueno for people with covid. It’s scientists saying it

Did you see that on CNN? It's fake news.
