Has the league issued any guidance on players that will be free agents when (if) the playoffs start in July? What would happen if a FA is injured on Aug 1 with a broken leg?

I think after a short feeling out period these round robin games are going to be intense. These guys are going to want to ramp it up as quickly as possible to get to playoff intensity. Especially when the play in teams will be at that intensity.

Question for the gamers. Can NHL 20 be played cross-platform? Specifically, if I have an Xbox One and my buddies all have PS4, can we play together online? Thanks

I did try googling this. It looks like it is cross-platform, but I had a hard time finding a definitive answer from a reliable looking source. Thanks again

there isn't crossplay for nhl20. the only game i know of right now that has crossplay is call of duty modern warfare.

He comes across as a regular guy that loves his family and likes doing yard work in between his kid's games and vacations. Not a very complex or particularly extroverted fellow. Much like he was when I met him at the local rink many times as our kids played and practiced at the same time, though not on the same teams.

I figured he wouldn't get caught up in too many "tell all" stories as some of the guys on Spittin Chiclets do. Those are the best episodes. I was listening to their 2019 Best Of show this weekend and couldn't stop laughing my butt off. That guy Brendan Walsh is a riot. So is Tim Stapleton and his stories of playing in Russia. Laugh so hard it makes my head hurt.

i looked it up just to double check. i knew nhl wasn't, but there are more games that allow crossplay than just call of duty. there aren't many though.

Just watched it. I love how he spoke of his entire career but unfortunately not enough Philly. Yes he named Lindros as his best line mate and the legion of doom and making the cup final. Too much Pittsburgh stuff.

Both Biz and Whit played in Pittsburgh and Whit played at the same time on the team with JLC, so it's understandable.

Glad to see him give shout-outs to Desjardains and Rod. He's right, Rico was a very underrated defenseman throughout his career.

Renberg too. I’ve never been a big Renberg Guy but he stated Value to the line perfectly. Hard forchecker and created turnovers.

Before the 100% abdominal muscle tear, Renberg was arguably a more valuable player than LeClair because of how complete Mikael was as a 200-foot player.

Also, Renberg produced at virtually the same rate (early in his career) no matter who his linemates were.

Just going by what LeClair said. We all know Kevin Stevens was a great player but....life happens.

Love me some Renberg. I guess it’s due to the injuries but I think he gets overlooked a lot when talking about those teams.
