Good Morning bored Leafies.

Starting a new bracket today. This is actors who have played Superheroes / X-men / Comic book characters etc.

We're voting for how hot the actor is, NOT the character. I won't always post pics of the character. Some of the women have even played more than one such role.

The bracket has been set, 32 female actors.

First Matchup... A or B

- Aetherial

Hmmm do I pick the Canadian.....or the cute brunette from Newsroom (great show)?

Fack it I'll stick with the Canucklehead.

I heard they are making a sequel.

I'm not looking forward to Kilmer playing volleyball topless on the beach this time.

Top gun was a great movie. People are afraid to admit it.
Although Kelly McGillis was never all that hot.

enemy at the gates

- TheMussel

Enemy at the gates was an underrated movie imo.

Hmm best war themed movies....

Das Boot
Joyeux Noel
Glory
Saving Private Ryan - all that went into making that film, was a great achievement
Full metal

Although, the Hurt locker and Black Hawk down keep coming to mind. I'll have to rewatch to see if they still hold up.
I may even have to rewatch Full metal as well.

Well, my 10 am call is done, so I've pretty much got nothing to do for the rest of the day.

Yeah, you've all been warned.

I went to film school many moons ago, did a study on it. Love it back then and still do.
It's long and its subtitled but the storytelling, camera work and overall feel of the film still stands out.
Great movie imo.

I thought Courage under Fire was well done too.

But I think you're missing one of the all time greatest movies ever made..... Apocalypse Now.

That's such a good movie, they made a movie about the making of that movie, and the movie about the making of Apocalypse Now was also very good.
