I don’t give apples the love they deserve. I don’t buy them often enough and leave them until it’s too late when I do. I’ve grown to love pears more recently both cooked and in salads.

I stopped at the big apple one day on the way back to Montreal because my girlfriend had never seen what kind of cluster(frank) that place is. I sulked my way through it but my consolation prize was a large container of brined castelvetrano olives... ate half of then on the drive out.
