Def either Zib or CK should wear the C. We need this settled by the start of next yr. Good for team Morale to have an established Captain.

Tikkanen tweeted a picture of Reijo on the Oilers this morning and it triggered me to refresh my memory of why Reijo left the Rangers

Him & Vanbiesbrouck, jeez those names were so long they had to wrap the name around the number on the back of the sweater.

True story back in the late 80s when it was a lot harder to get jerseys w names on them you had to pay for every letter when you went into the sports store to have it stitched on. I wanted BEEZER but when my Dad heard that he said “can’t you get an Ed Mio Jersey?” Lol

Also Christmas of 88 I got a 80s era Jets green Al Toon Jersey. Not too many letters either.

I think of the two, I would choose Kreider. Zibby just seems to be so easy going, I'd hate to upset the confidence he has shown.
I was never sold on Kreids as Captain material either until the last year or so. He really seems to be a guy that others look to.

I'd go with Kreider, he seems more serious and sounds more like a leader in the post game interviews. Let Zib have fun and score. To me giving Zib the C would be like when Leetch had it.

I don't know man, Kelly Preston is pretty hot. If he had other tendencies I think he would have married someone more on the handsome side

Good point, or he had to marry a hot chick just to prove he likes girls.

This. Everyone involved in it seems a bit off. Add in the disconnect that comes with being a celebrity and I think it causes people to just cast out a weird vibe.
