I would be hesitant to sign Tony D'Angelo to a long term contract. I do want him on this team --- to me a trade would only occur if it involved a young center with tremendous upside. I think a 2 year bridge or even a 3 year deal would be beneficial for both sides.

After earning less than $1 million this season, the Rangers should offer him 2 years/ $9 mill or 3 years/ $15 mill and lock him up for the short term. Either way --- trading Skjei created room to fit Tony in for the future.

As I stated in the last blog, classy move by Hank with such a generous donation to the local community. The King feeding his subjects!

His politics do make him less likeable. Perhaps more now then ever, as our city and state are taking it in the ass.

Again, lets try and stay away from this topic here as inevitably it will always turn into a fight. I'm as big a Ranger fan as they come and I had no idea ADA had outspoken political beliefs but he has that right if he so chooses.

I've just seen wayyyyy too many times civil talks and points being taken about political issues get out of hand by SOME. It's oversaturated much of the conversation everywhere, it's nice when there's a place where you can get away from that like here.

There really is no down side, unless he played like crap after the contract, which I would say is a minimal risk, since every year he gets better.

And if a time came where the guys behind him were better, he would be on a team friendly contract that would make him easy to trade if they had to go that route.

He contributes in every aspect of the game, little fireball too when he wants to be, not afraid to stand up for a teammate or engage with the big boys.

I hear you about keeping the conversation above board, but the fact of the matter is that sports and politics have been intertwined throughout history. So it’s relevant.

I hear you & I'm not a MOD here and couldn't or wouldn't stop anyone from saying anything, just an observation in being an old timer here and knowing where that convo can go.

I was only banned twice, both times by her for 3 days each. Once I recall was for her slagging Avery and I def had a harsh take on her take lol.

Think he would want way more than that per year, likely $6.5 per at a minimum.

Back then, the slings thrown were crazy and Bo did a pretty good job. I had lots of bans shortened.

Does it seem tacky to anyone else that Hank announces a dollar amount of donation? It's always better when someone else takes note of it and makes it public...no?
