Thinking about getting a dog as well. Been thinking about it for a while now. I'd like a refuge dog (not a breeder one). Hope I find one soon, it would be the best time to get one since I'll be working from home for a while as well.

neighbour just picked up a small dog at the SPCA, that's exactly what he told me, he will be around for the next 2-5 months....best time to train a dog

you should they are great company unlike cats who dont care what you do as long as you feed them lol and perfect timing to train one indeed.

I like dogs from shelters but I wouldn't want a pitbull, german shepherd or husky so that's a very limiting factor
