Why do you think the Canucks winning was an upset? |

They have fewer points, which made them a lower seed. |

CBJ doesn't have a good team. I guess what I don't remember about this contest if it's assuming everyone is healthy or leaving off exactly where we left off.
CBJ, already not a very good team was hit with significant injuries. They just rode a crazy unsustainable goaltending ride that's quickly come back to normal. VAN, for whatever they are, they've basically been consistently what they've been for the most of the season and they're a decent team. Far better than CBJ. |

Nice buddy. Do you have any takes on Cam Lee? Him and Drew O’Connor will be good additions to the minor leagues I guess. - Barnaby36
I feel like Lee will be a good minor league player and maybe get a call up, but offensive defensemen with great PP numbers who don't defend well and struggle with physical play usually only make it if they have exceptional high end skill. He'll have to really adapt his game and learn he can't just rely on his offenaive skills in the NHL.
O'Connor I think ia a safer bet. Well-rounded: he has size, skill, defensive value, and decent skating. I'd guess 3rd line talent though maybe he gets a spot as 3rd wheel on a scoring line. I think people compared him too quickly to ZAR, but ZAR always had queations about if he could score at this level because he broke out offensively so late. |

You just described Eric Tangradi with your O'Connor description. |

The safe bets don't always work out.
I actually think of Legare more like Tangradi only Legare has a better shot. I may be remembering wrong, but I didn't think Tangradi came with a decent defensive and skating reputation. |

He didn't. Tangradi was projected as the old school power forward. Big punishing forward who can score, but no expectation of actual skating skill or defensive acumen. |

Haha the only thing I remember Tangradi for was the Pens Isles battles. Dipietro clothes lining Cooke, Johnson Busting Dipietro's face and Johnson fighting Haley lol |

What happened to the big ET anyway? Unthought he wasn’t a good skater nor had the hands to keep up in the NHL |

My biggest disappointment would have to be Angelo Esposito. Can’t believe he fell off a cliff so fast. Didn’t even get a chance to play in the NHL (I think). He was supposed to be GOOD. Enough to be a Top 6 forward. |
