Can I just say that I am disgusted and embarrassed by Bruins ownership for not taking care of the Garden workers. One of the richest NHL clubs and yet the ONLY one not taking care of it's employees. Shame on you Jacobs family...shame on you! To be honest, I even expected more out of the players...a bit surprised with only a paltry few grand donated to the go fund me page for the workers.

Hopefully the Jacob's are shamed into doing the right thing. But based on their history I won't hold my breath.

And yeah - the players could do more - without the rink staff they would have ZERO home games...

didnt know about any of that. It sucks, they at lease are fast tracking unemployment. The casino isn't paying anyone either. But you know every city employee in the state isn't going to miss a paycheck. I run a small funeral home. I'm telling everyone to stay home unless your needed, and the hourly employee will be paid her normal hours as long as we can afford it.

Agreed, and hopefully you'll get paid back via one of the various legislation approved/in the works.

Looks like the Jacobs have stepped up big time. Well done! Wish they had been more forthcoming sooner.
