This will be a lot tougher than it seemed a few weeks back. The Rags are on a roll, and you know they'll be up for this game. Definitely need your A game from the get go. |

Flyers just need to play their game. Take advantage of the fact they played yesterday |

Lots to come from DQ, but one of the notes is that he’s going back to Georgiev tomorrow in Philly. #NYR
Not sure who I would rather play |

The boys gotta come out hot and ready. Play for your coach! Read somewhere AV's next win sets him in top 10 for wins as a coach. No better time to get it done than against your former team. |

Lundqvist isn't what he was at his peak, but game-to-game he can bring it. Georgiev is more consistently good nowadays. I stopped fearing Lundqvist after Game 82 in 2010, despite only winning 2-1 in a shootout. |

If they Flyers win both games, they'll get some breathing room and effectively end NYR's season. If they lose both, they're back in a dogfight to get it. If they split, well, they're in a dogfight but not as badly. |

Yup! Hoping the Rangers are feeling last night's game in their legs after chasing most of the game. |

Two losses end the rangers season? keep smoking that crack! |
|
|
|
Weekend home and home vs. Rags
4 points (Thoughts of a division title)
3 points (Where do I sign?)
2 points (Acceptable, playoff spot solid)
1 point (Unacceptable, playoffs could become dog fight)
0 points (unmitigated disaster) |

It's not that you won't get 4 points that ends your season. It's the fact that you'll have 2 less games and more teams to leapfrog.
Flyers had the same issue in 2017. They were only a few points out, but they had too many teams to leapfrog, and they eventually ran out of games. Any team outside of a spot can't afford a 2-game losing streak (assuming the teams above them keep up their pace). |

Depends on other teams as well. If Isles, CBJ and CAR all lose, it isnt that big of a deal. Carolina plays the Pens 4x so we could get help there as well |

Flyers are in a position now, where they don't have to depend on what other teams do. Take care of business and you don't have to watch the scoreboard. Does that mean win every game? Of course not, just have to avoid losing streaks. |

No, I was more afraid of us having to play Ray Emery for 3 games. Mason and Lundqvist played about the same that series, I'd even say Mason outplayed him. The Rags were just a better team. Hell, in two of the game we won (2 and 6), he played pretty badly. I'm not saying he was bad then, but he didn't seem unbeatable either as he once did.
Same with Brodeur, I never feared him after 2004 even though he beat us in 2012. |

Bill, I’m not a big fan of Ghost. Sure, I love what he can do in the offensive zone, but cringe when he’s on defense. All-in-all, I think that limits him to third line pairing and PP which I’m fine with. But, What is the story on him? Healthy scratch? He’s back from his conditioning at the Phantoms. Is he 100%?. They’ve got to get him back into playing some games. I would think playing against the Rags would be a good test? |

The rangers are playing loose. No one (including ranger fans) expected them to be anywhere near a playoff berth this year. It’s nice to be playing meaningful games again! Not expecting to win tonight or Sunday if I’m being honest I feel like Hank will be thrown to the wolves on Sunday especially if we lose tonight! Should be fun though I’d wish the flyers luck but you all know I’d be lying if I did! |

The Rangers are the hottest team in the NHL, I'd rather not get a guy back in the lineup against them.
Speaking of which, how was he moving in LHV? |

Panarin and Zibanajed are playing great hockey. I think Georgiev is too good to keep as a backup, eventually they will have to deal him. Fox and DeAngelo have been terrific on the back end. 9 game road winning streak is damn impressive. Why can't Dolan run the Rags into the ground like he has with the Knicks? |

Best part of being the Rangers, Dolan doesn't give a frank about us. As much as Snider was a great owner for you guys and the league as a whole, just in general I'd rather sports team owners only sign the checks. Usually turns out better that way. |

Honestly, I think being such a young team and having the momentum that we have, I think it's been a great benefit to us playing so many games. I do worry about running Georgie into the ground though. |

Yeah, he hasn't banned Messier or Richter from MSG. - PLindbergh31
As a proud American, I can honestly say I hate the Rangers more than any other team in sports.
However, I actually like most of the players from that 1994 Oil Rags team. For some reason, I was able to cheer for Messier, Leetch, and Richter. Heck, I even cheered for Tikkanen, Amonte, Graves, and Kovalev.
But (frank) Jeff Bekeboom. |
