So which leafs team shows up tonight?
The one that cares, sticks to a game plan and that we've seen only a few times this year?
Or the one that is only interested in padding their stats, not playing for each other and can only play one way?

there might be a 3rd option, but its only marginally better than the second option.

We'll see.
Lets go on a run boys!

We really need to go on a run boys.
Really.

nice to see some hope coming out - there is still some.

its easy to be negative and spew garbage - its tougher to hold strong!

They have 19 games left to turn around the season.
Luckily for them the panthers and teams below them havent really shown an interest in the playoffs and have been just as bad as the leafs.

6-3-1 in their last 10 games.

That's barely better than Montreal and they're not a threat to the Leafs this season.

this is the best time of year to heat up

its the worst time of year to be in position A and drop like a rock

were in position B so we either thrive and get hot at the right time heading into playoffs or we die a terrible death and end up missing.

if we miss I don't care if its montreal, buffalo, florida. makes no difference but FLA is the only team right now I'm at all concerned about

.

Here's my bold prediction. One of Buffalo or Montreal will go on a run in the next 10 games and make it close enough that its a 3 way race down the stretch. Just a strange feeling I have. Then again it could be gas....

Guys... Dubas missed out on his target for continuing AHL glory...

Korbinian Holzer...

We could have had Holzer back! Forget Rosen! More Korbinian!!!

Ya Im not too worried about any other team, outside of Fla and Im not sure what message their GM sent them yesterday.
Get a point tonight and beat Fla later this week to give the leafs a nice cushion for now.

How they thought it was a good idea to trade a young controllable center for a bag of nothing is beyond me. Leafs should have offered Kerfoot+

Strange post I saw yesterday...along the lines of
If Dubas believes in this team, how come he didnt get them any help?

I may be way off here, but if he believes in them, doesn't that mean he doesn't think they need help?

And to be clear, I am not say its good or bad or I agree.
I Think after zambonigate, the right stance is to do nothing much at all right now. I would have flipped out Barrie, but I also see with Rielly out...they are thin

he needs the 20 games to see what he has, and can make the adjustments in the summer

For what it's worth, the Leafs could just as easily poop the bed to end the season or somehow go on a tear and do some damage.

It's not a consistant team, they have their flaws, but they also have plenty of strenghts. Just need to make them all fit together.

I think he realizes he needs some big change, but that cant be done at the trade deadline. Leafs need a #1 RHD. I would hope that he focuses on the Blues this summer.

With Petro up, they either done resign him, or trade someone like Parayko. He needs to go all in there.

This team is horribly inconsistent. Its one of the things they are good at.

He hasn't performed all that well this year but he's got size, decent/good skating.... I think he can be an effective player in the right setting.
